PainOnSocial alternative

Bazzly vs PainOnSocial

Scans the subreddits you choose for recurring pain points, ranks them with quotes and links, and suggests solution ideas.

Best for PainOnSocial: Founders deciding what to build, who want ranked, evidence-backed problems from Reddit before writing any code.

The short answer

PainOnSocial and Bazzly answer different questions. PainOnSocial asks what people in a set of subreddits are struggling with: it scans recent discussions, ranks pain points by frequency and intensity with quotes and Reddit links, and suggests product ideas and target audiences. It does not post or watch for buyers. Bazzly assumes the product already exists: it finds the threads where someone needs it, posts the reply through aged accounts it operates, adds upvotes and messages leads. Use PainOnSocial to decide what to build, and Bazzly to sell it once it exists.

How comments get posted

PainOnSocial never posts; it reads public discussions and returns a ranked list of problems. Bazzly posts the reply for you through aged accounts it warms and operates, or from your own account through its browser extension, and adds upvotes.

Account safety and removed comments

PainOnSocial carries no posting risk because it never posts. Bazzly carries that risk for you: a warmed fleet, one account per thread, banned accounts retired, and a comment removed within 48 hours refunded automatically.

Finding the right threads

PainOnSocial is built for idea discovery: you pick subreddits, it analyses discussions over 7, 30 or 90 days, scores pain points by frequency and intensity, and shows the quotes behind each one; Professional adds a shared database of pain points and PDF idea reports. Bazzly is built for selling: it scores every new post in your subreddits against an existing product with a fit percentage and a classification, surfaces Reddit threads ranking on Google for your searches, and tracks brand and competitor mentions in Brand Signals.

Running it hands-off

PainOnSocial runs scans when you ask and sends weekly topic watches by email. Bazzly's Autopilot runs continuously: it finds, drafts, posts and upvotes on its own within a daily pace and a relevance threshold you set.

Leads and DMs

PainOnSocial identifies target audiences for each pain point, not individual leads. Bazzly flags the people asking for what you sell, drafts a DM from your template, and sends it from your own account through the extension.

Working with AI agents

PainOnSocial lists no API or MCP server. Bazzly exposes the full loop over an MCP server and a REST API with an OpenAPI spec, with one-click connect for Claude Code, Codex and Cursor.

What PainOnSocial does well

  • Pain points ranked by frequency and intensity, with real quotes and Reddit links as evidence
  • AI solution ideas and target-audience analysis for each pain point
  • A low price, from $19 a month with a 7-day trial on Starter

Where Bazzly differs

  • PainOnSocial helps you decide what to build; Bazzly helps you sell what you built, by posting replies in the threads where people ask for it.
  • Bazzly posts through warmed-up accounts it operates, adds upvotes, and refunds a comment removed within 48 hours.
  • Bazzly turns matching posters into leads with AI-drafted DMs, and exposes everything over MCP and REST; PainOnSocial lists neither.

Which one to choose

Choose PainOnSocial if

You are still choosing what to build and want ranked, evidence-backed problems from Reddit at a low price.

Choose Bazzly if

Your product exists and you want it mentioned, upvoted and recommended in the Reddit threads where buyers are asking, without daily work.

Switching to Bazzly

  1. 1

    Paste your product URL

Bazzly reads the page and builds the profile: description, audience, pain points, keywords, subreddits and Google searches. Two minutes, no keyword research.

  2. 2

    Bring what you already know

Add the subreddits and searches that worked for you elsewhere under Project Settings, and paste any reply guidelines into the AI reply instructions so drafts sound like you from day one.

  3. 3

    Post the first comment yourself

Open Opportunities, draft a reply, and post it through a warmed-up account. Watch it in the Reply Queue until it is live, then check the fit of the next few before trusting the threshold.

  4. 4

    Turn on Autopilot

Start at Moderate pace and the Very Relevant threshold, switch on upvotes, and let it run. Connect your AI agent from API & MCP if you want to drive it from Claude Code, Codex or Cursor.

FAQ

Does PainOnSocial post on Reddit?

No. It analyses public discussions and returns ranked pain points with quotes and links. Bazzly posts comments through warmed-up accounts it operates, or from your own account through its extension.

Is PainOnSocial a GummySearch alternative?

For pain-point research, yes: GummySearch's founder lists it among his recommended alternatives for pain-point analysis. It is narrower than GummySearch was, focused on scanning chosen subreddits for problems and product ideas.

Which should I use to validate an idea?

PainOnSocial, which is built for that. Bazzly starts from a product page you already have and looks for the people who need that product.

Can I use both?

Yes. Find a problem worth solving in PainOnSocial, build for it, then use Bazzly to put the product in front of the people describing that problem on Reddit.

Which is cheaper?

PainOnSocial, from $19 a month, because it only does research. Bazzly is $199/month with 170 credits and a 7-day free trial, and the price includes posting through warmed-up accounts.

I tested 20+ Reddit tools. I always got disappointed. Then I tried Bazzly, loved it and got features I wanted within 2 hours by asking the support ⚑ I shared it in a lead magnet, nobody cared. Meanwhile I get clients from Reddit every week because of it.

πŸŽ‰ About 40 days later, up to 11k MRR!! I hate to do this, but one of my favorite new tools is actually another one from @tibo_maker... At first, I actually wasn't sure if I was going to keep using this product...took me a minute to figure out exactly how to get the most out of it and I still think I have a long way to go.... But, now I've been using @squad_so_ like crazy lately to automate tasks. I'm still learning to make it really efficient, but these are just some of the things I'm using it for right now: - cold emails - write weekly newsletters - write reddit dms and posts that I send with @FilipPanoski's @bazzlyai - create blog posts, and also edit posts that come from @outrank_so - automatically help with some dev tasks, trying to build this in more. - improve our customer service and automatically generate ideas / bug fixes based on feedback from customers - accounting/bookeeping - scripting for videos, and automatically posting carousel slideshows based on videos I posted Happy to share more on how I'm automating this. Let me know if there's anything in particular you're interested in! Huge thanks to @tibo_maker for the great products :) #founder #buildinpublic #ai

πŸŽ‰ Exceeded 7k MRR today!! Here are 3 things I do for marketing every day that have helped: 1. Bazzly β€” Been using @bazzlyai from @FilipPanoski. Definitely recommend it for finding leads on reddit. I know for sure we've converted some customers from this channel. But, also appreciate that it helps GEO/AEO by getting your product name out there on reddit. We're getting quite a bit of traffic now from ChatGPT and seeing Perplexity and show up more too. 2. Outrank β€” Kinda love @outrank_so from @tibo_maker. I built my own in-house process for writing content, but it still took quite a bit of management on my end and it didn't help us build backlinks. Now we're at 12DR and hit 300 clicks in the last 28 days. 3. Meta ads β€” Wasn't sure how profitable meta ads would be for us, but it's turning out to work well. It's obviously a much more expensive way to grow, but with the above a lot of our marketing is on auto-pilot. Going to keep focusing on these 3, but curious about other channels like LinkedIn and even focusing more on X. Haven't been super focused on X lately since the above has been working and I've been putting most of my energy into improving the product. Improving our conversion rate across our funnel and our retention our top priorities right now.

Bazzly has been the single best tool for our company being discovered more by AI. I've used similar tools in the past but they were low quality, comments were removed frequently, and their support was slow. Filip and the team have been a breathe of fresh air, bringing lightning quick response-times and not to mention deploying updates within literally minutes of bringing requests to their team. They are the ONLY choice if you're serious about growing organically from Reddit. 11/10

Got 8 users yesterday! That was my biggest journey so far! All organic: posting 3x a week on Indiehackers and Reddit Also started using Bazzly from @FilipPanoski for the Reddit game: finding leads + spotting high-SEO posts to comment on. Well done mate, this thing is a game changer!

Bazzly is a great app. It solves a real, meaningful problem. I know Filip personally as well, and everything he touches is high quality. The app is confirmation of this.
