A Reddit research tool that stopped signups and payments on November 30, 2025 and shuts down entirely on December 1, 2026.
Best for GummySearch: Nobody new: signups closed on November 30, 2025. Existing customers can use a prepaid plan until it runs out, at the latest on December 1, 2026.
The short answer
GummySearch is closed. Its founder, Fed, stopped new signups, payments and renewals on November 30, 2025, after GummySearch could not reach a commercial license for Reddit's Data API, and the product shuts down entirely on December 1, 2026, when all user data is deleted. It was a research tool: it found the subreddits your customers use, sorted their conversations into themes like pain points and solution requests, and tracked keywords, and you did any replying yourself. Bazzly is not a like-for-like replacement for that open-ended research. It covers the part where research turns into customers: it watches your subreddits and Google searches, scores each post for fit, and posts the reply through aged accounts it operates, with upvotes and lead DMs. If you used GummySearch to find and answer buyers, Bazzly picks up that job and goes further; if you used it to validate ideas, pair Bazzly with a research tool.

How comments get posted
GummySearch never posted anything. It surfaced conversations inside the subreddits you picked and left the reply to you, from your own Reddit account. Bazzly posts the reply for you through an aged account it warms and operates, scheduled into a natural slot, or from your own account through its browser extension, and adds upvotes so the comment stays visible.
Account safety and removed comments
Because GummySearch only read Reddit, it carried no posting risk; whatever you posted afterwards went from your own account, and that account's age and karma decided whether the comment survived subreddit filters. Bazzly carries that risk for you: comments go out from a fleet it warms with ordinary activity, one account per thread, banned accounts are retired, and a comment removed within 48 hours is refunded.
Finding the right threads
This was GummySearch's strength. You built an audience from a set of subreddits, then browsed its conversations sorted into themes such as solution requests, pain and anger, advice requests and money talk, searched them by keyword, summarised patterns with AI, and on the Pro plan watched trending subreddits. Bazzly is narrower and pointed at selling: it watches up to 10 subreddits and 15 Google searches per project, scores every new post against your product with a fit percentage and a classification, surfaces the Reddit threads already ranking on Google for your searches, and tracks mentions of you and your competitors in Brand Signals. For open-ended research, Bazzly's free Subreddit Finder, Subreddit Stats and Reddit Advanced Search tools cover part of what GummySearch's free tier did.
Running it hands-off
GummySearch automated the watching: keyword tracking notified you of new posts and comments that mentioned your terms, and the Pro plan could push them to Slack or Discord. Everything after the alert was manual. Bazzly's Autopilot runs the whole loop on its own, finding, drafting, posting and upvoting within a daily pace and a relevance threshold you set, and pauses itself when credits run low or a draft would contain a link.
Leads and DMs
GummySearch's guides suggested tracking phrases like "looking for" and reading solution requests to find customers, then reaching out yourself. Bazzly flags posters who are asking for what you sell as leads, drafts a DM from your template using the person's own words, and the extension sends it from your own account with pacing and duplicate protection.
Working with AI agents
GummySearch listed no public API or MCP server; its integration was Slack and Discord alerts on the Pro plan. Bazzly exposes the full loop over an MCP server and a REST API with an OpenAPI spec, with one-click connect for Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, so an agent can find opportunities, draft, post and check results.
What GummySearch does well
- Fast audience research: subreddit discovery, keyword search and AI summaries across a set of communities
- Conversations sorted into themes such as solution requests, pain points and money talk
- A free tier and low prices, from $29 a month, used by over 140,000 founders, marketers and investors by its own count
Where Bazzly differs
- You can sign up for Bazzly today. GummySearch has taken no signups or payments since November 30, 2025, and deletes all user data on December 1, 2026.
- Bazzly acts on what it finds: it drafts the reply and posts it through warmed-up accounts it operates, or from your account through the extension. GummySearch stopped at research.
- Bazzly adds upvotes, targets Reddit threads that already rank on Google, and refunds a comment removed within 48 hours.
- Bazzly turns matching posters into leads with AI-drafted DMs from your own account, and exposes everything over MCP and REST.
- GummySearch was the broader research tool, with theme browsing across whole audiences, trending subreddits and pattern reports. Bazzly does not try to replace that; it focuses on the threads worth replying to.

FAQ
Is GummySearch shutting down?
Yes. It stopped accepting signups, payments and renewals on November 30, 2025. Paid customers keep access until their billing period ends, lifetime-deal holders until November 30, 2026, and the service shuts down entirely on December 1, 2026, when all user data is deleted.
Why did GummySearch close?
Its founder, Fed, wrote that GummySearch relied on Reddit's API and could not reach a commercial license agreement that fit Reddit's Data API Usage policies, so it had to become non-commercial or shut down. He chose to close the business and keep the product running for paid customers for one final year.
What did GummySearch do?
It was an audience research tool for Reddit: find the subreddits your customers use, search and summarise their conversations, browse themes such as pain points and solution requests, and track keywords with alerts. It never posted or sent messages.
Can I still sign up for GummySearch?
No. New signups closed on November 30, 2025, and free accounts can only log in to view, download or delete their data.
Did GummySearch recommend an alternative?
Its closure pages link to a list of alternatives Fed compiled, noting that some may be affiliate links. In October 2026 it listed BuzzAbout and Adlicio for cross-platform research, RedReach, ReplyAgent and Subreddit Signals for Reddit lead generation, PainOnSocial and IdeaFast for pain-point analysis, and Postpone for scheduling. Bazzly is not on it.
Is Bazzly a GummySearch alternative?
For finding and answering buyers on Reddit, yes, and it goes further: it posts the reply through warmed-up accounts, adds upvotes and sends lead DMs. For open-ended audience research and idea validation it is narrower; its free Subreddit Finder, Subreddit Stats and Reddit Advanced Search tools cover part of that.
What happens to my GummySearch data?
Its help center says all user data will be permanently deleted on December 1, 2026, and advises downloading anything you need before then. Free users can still log in to export or delete their data until that date.
